Reflections

This interactive sculpture, “Reflections” is a life size representation of Dunwoody Parks and Recreation branding. This sculpture’s goal is for the community to reflect on their surroundings. Take a photo, create a memory and let Dunwoody be a part of their story.  

The “D” is made of sheet metal steel with a powder coated finish. It is 5 ft tall , 5 ft wide and 3 ft deep with a chrome powder coated finish. The three leaves surrounding the letter vary in height from 6 ft tall to 3 ft tall, all which are hand forged with a powder coated finish. 


Grounded Gathering

Not just a bench but a beautiful gathering place for friends and family; located at Brook Run Park in Dunwoody Georgia. This sculpture is 21 ft long and 15 ft tall and has 3 unique leaf benches with a 5 ft diameter flower on top. This bench holds up to 30 people. Made out of powder coated steel.


Cherokee History Museum

Cherokee History Museum is home to 3 unique metal sculptures tied to Cherokee County’s unique history. 

“Poultry Pioneers” is a 8 ft tall chicken sculpture made of bronze and powder coated steel. This sculpture highlights the history and growth of the poultry industry.

“You are Here” is a 6 ft x 6 ft x 6ft map sculpture that highlights the growth and history of Cherokee County. Each layer represents a moment in time and is made of Steel, Stainless Steel, Bronze and Copper.

History Cherokee exists on the lands of the Cherokee (ᏣᎳᎫᏪᏘᏱ Tsalaguwetiyi) and Creek Peoples, whose ancestors resided here long before the lines of Cherokee County were drawn. This Sculpture acknowledges and respects the Indigenous people who reside in Cherokee County today, as well as their ancestors who laid the foundation for the land in which we occupy.

This tree sculpture stands 7 ft tall made from steel and copper using traditional blacksmithing techniques 

 “It is with our sincere hope that this sculpture will in some way help us to remember the    Cherokee and Creek peoples who were apt stewards of their land and people. May their principles endure in future generations” – Huelani and Carl
